1. These booking conditions apply even if for some reason the booking information form has not been completed and returned. (e.g. a late booking by telephone).
2 .Balance payment. The balance of payment will be due 8 weeks before the holiday commences. We reserve the right to cancel a booking where fully payment has not been received by this time.
3. Guests. This booking is for accommodation only and is strictly limited to the persons listed on the booking information form. Admission will be refused or the booking terminated if this condition is not adhered to. Pets are not allowed.
4. Flights. Flights are the responsibility of the travellers.
5. Insurance. Travel insurance is compulsory under EC law. All occupants are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate travel insurance and a 24 hour emergency telephone number. The use of the accommodation and amenities are offered on the condition that they are used entirely at the occupant’s own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, illness, death, loss or damage to user’s or visitors’ property or belongings, including motor vehicles, however caused.
6. Cancellation. Cancellation up to 12 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday will incur loss of deposit only. Between 12 weeks and 8 weeks prior, 50% of the full payment is due, and less than 8 weeks prior 100% of the full payment is due.
7. Force majeure. In the unlikely event that the accommodation is rendered uninhabitable due to fire, earthquake or other means beyond our control, liability is limited to a refund of monies paid for the accommodation.
8. Liability. We cannot accept liability for errors or omissions of parties over which we have no control (e.g. Rental car companies). The villa booking is for accommodation only and is independent of, and bears no liability to, any other product or service that you have purchased.
9. Smoking. This is a non-smoking villa. Please do not smoke, or allow others to smoke anywhere inside the villa. Damage or cleaning caused by cigarette smoke will be charged at full cost.
10. Breakages / damages. All breakages and damages are the legal responsibility of the hirer who is responsible for the property and expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils etc must be left clean, and the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. Please ensure that any damage is reported to the villa manager as soon as it occurs so that it can be rectified for the next occupants. A security deposit, payable with the final balance, will be refunded within 21 days of departure, less any charges for replacements or repairs to the property or any of its contents. This may also include any extraordinary cleaning or excessive heating costs.
11. Gas and electric. Central heating and pool heating are available at additional cost and by prior arrangement. Standard levels of gas and electric are included within the accommodation price. Gas and electricity are metered and, where appropriate, (i.e. where in excess of the standard level), will be charged at cost and deducted from the security deposit.
12. Maid service. The accommodation is booked on a self-catering basis. Maid service is provided twice per week, unless otherwise stated. The maid will generally tidy up, change towels and linen, but is not expected to do the washing up etc.
13. Arrival. To ensure that the villa is expertly prepared for their arrival, guests must not arrive before 14:00 hrs, and on their departure day, must leave before 10:00 hrs.
14. Complaints. We fully expect our guests to be very happy with the accommodation and amenities provided. However, if you feel you have reason to complain, you must immediately contact our villa manager personally, by phone so that the problem can be resolved. We cannot be responsible for any matter which you did not bring to our attention during your holiday. If the problem is not resolved locally to your satisfaction, you must put your complaint in writing, to the address at the top of this form, within 7 days of your departure date.
15. Liabilities. We do not accept liability for personal injury, death, property loss, damage or inconvenience, including problems arising from sudden electricity cuts, water cuts, burst pipes, blocked drains, and nuisance by animals or insects (e.g. dogs, bees, wasps, ants etc.). We also do not accept liability for breakdowns at the property, including heaters, pumps and swimming pool equipment, but please notify our villa manager immediately if this happens and every effort will be made to resolve the situation immediately.
